Conveyor Belt Pulley
By introducing advanced foreign technology, the company has carefully researched and developed a series of pulleys. It has the characteristics of reasonable structure, high precision, low noise, rotation flexibility, large moving range, beautiful appearance, etc., and is an indispensable key component in the material conveying system. In particular, the wear-resistant ceramic pulley and the new buffer pulley independently developed by the company have received national patents.
A conveyor always consists of at least two pulleys - head and tail, as well as additional pulleys depending on the configuration. Standard pulleys are generally suitable for simple applications, but for applications where heavy-duty pulleys are required, mine pulleys and engineered pulleys are available.
Various Types of Conveyor Pulleys ShanDongShanKkuang ® sells conveyor pulleys in all of the following subcategories:
Head pulleys
The head pulley is located at the discharge point of the conveyor. It usually drives the conveyor and often has a larger diameter than other pulleys. For better grip, the head pulley usually has pads (rubber or ceramic).
Tail and wing pulleys
The tail pulley is located at the loading end of the belt. It has either a flat surface or a rack profile (wing pulley) that clears the belt, allowing material to fall between the support members.
Drive pulleys
Drive pulleys, which may also be head pulleys, are driven by the motor and power transmission unit to propel the belt and material toward discharge.
Bending pulleys
A bending pulley is used to change the direction of movement of the belt.
