Dubai Hassian Clean Coal Power Plant Project

On August 27, both CCTV-1 and CCTV-13 (news channel) simultaneously broadcast a special program “Focus Report - The Win-Win Path of the Belt and Road” and showed the UAE's Dubai Hassian clean coal power plant project as an example of strategic “docking” within the framework "Belt and Road".

The Hasiang clean coal power plant project in Dubai is the first clean coal power plant in the Middle East, as well as the first project to actively involve Chinese enterprises in the Middle East under the Belt and Road Initiative. The Hasian project is highly demanding regarding the concept and requirements of environmentally friendly design and meets the highest global standards in quality management. Shankuang was successful in signing a contract to design and manufacture belt conveyor and other equipment for the Dubai Hassyan Clean Coal-fired Power Plant Phase I (4X600MW Net) and the Jetty Project. The company has adopted and complied with the requirements of the international standards required by the project owner for design, raw material procurement, production and testing, and has made every effort to organize the production of the project in strict accordance with the high requirements specified in the contract and technical agreement.
